Derm-A-Gel

Skin immediately starts to repair. When used daily, skin will take on a rosy glow, and you will notice a more consistent skin tone, refinement of pores, and overall smoother, firmer appearance. Benefits can be seen in less than two weeks.

Use following cleansing and toning steps, when skin is primed for optimum product penetration.

Use up to twice daily - AM and/or PM. Begin usage every other day and gradually increase to daily application. (See skin type considerations below for more specifics.)

Apply an even layer over the entire face, neck, and décolleté (no spot treating). Allow serum to dry briefly before applying additional products or makeup to skin.

* Normal or Combination Skin: Start using a Derm-A-Gel® every other night for the first week to ten days, then gradually increase to twice daily.

* Sensitive Skin, Arid or Dry Winter Climate Conditions: Begin with one application of Derm-A-Gel® every third night through the second week. Increase to every other night for a further week, and nightly thereafter. Eventually, you may be able to use the program up to twice daily.

* Oily Skin or Hot Tropical Climate Conditions: Because your natural oil flow creates a film that slows the effects of the Vitamin A, the program can be stepped up more quickly. You may be able to start right off with using the Vitamin A Propionate skin conditioning lotion once a day. As skin acclimates, begin applying Derm-A-Gel® twice a day.

Once skin has acclimated to Derm-A-Gel®, graduate to Exfol-A™.

Use in combination with Benzoyl Peroxide to accelerate peeling of acne impactions.

* Slight peeling or flaking and tingling sensation as skin acclimates is normal and indicates the product is working. If excessive drying, redness or peeling occurs during the first two or three weeks, skip treatment for a day or two, then restart slowly.

+ Vitamin A Propionate: Developed by Dr. James E. Fulton, the most effective non-prescription retinoid available. Helps diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while protecting from further photo-aging and free radical damage.

+ Kojic Acid: Kojic acid: Natural pigment inhibitor derived from mushrooms. Lightens skin and protects against sun damage.

+ Lactic Acid: Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) derived from fermented milk. Gentler than other AHAs. Exfoliates dead skin, encourages cell renewal, aids in regulating pH and acts as moisture binder.

+ Glycine: A naturally occurring amino acid and a basic building block of proteins.

+ Urea: An organic compound and product of protein metabolism. Promotes rehydration in skin.

+ Niacinamide: A water-soluble form of Vitamin B with firming effect and anti-inflammatory properties.
